About

When I started my voluntary service in 2009 on Sylt in the Wadden Sea National Parc, an ongoing fascination and desire for nature and nature photgraphy finally broke out. Since then, nature and particularly bird photography has been my great passion. When I am not out photographing, I live and work in Marburg as a conservation biologist. In my spare time I work as a bird ringer for monitoring projects and teaching for the university. I am an active member in the local nature and bird conservation associations and active in environmental eduation, especially for the younger generation. Every June I go up to Swedish Lapland to work in different research projects on arctic breeding birds.

Hope you enjoy my pictures,
